- I was born on the winter solstice in a quiet city under a blanket of stars and snow. My name is Courtney and I like to make things. After a few years in Dallas, Texas, I'm home again in southern-central Maine, where I live with my husband and our son. My life is not really as quiet as I like to say it is.
